Dear God,
I come to you as an autism mom. I am tired. I am weary. I sometimes feel so alone and scared.
I ask for Your strength to help me get through this life, the strength to help me live out my vocation as an autism mom. I ask for the energy to get through each day, the wisdom to know the best way to respond to my children, and the patience I need to stay calm. Please help me not to be afraid, and to trust in Your Will for my life and my family. Help me get to heaven.
Please help my child with autism. Help him make good choices, to make friends, and to be kind. Help him to know his special vocation in this life and to know what You are calling him to do. Please help him get to heaven. Please help my husband. Give him strength, wisdom, patience, and courage, and help him get to heaven. Please help my neurotypical son. Guide him to know right from wrong, and help him to get to heaven. Guide him to know his special vocation in life and to know what You are calling him to do. I pray for all those who have autism, and for their families and friends. Please guide us all to know Your will for our lives. Please help us to see the gifts in autism, and the good things in autism. Help us to focus on the positives, and not the negatives. Thank you for all the blessings you have given us. Help us to always live, laugh, love, listen and believe. We ask this through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. AMEN.
I feel God is ready to perform miracles in this area. Major breakthrough for many. I also feel that God is calling His church to be more compassionate to people – mothers, fathers, grand parents, brother and sisters – who have someone with autism or special needs in their family
