What medicines are recommended for Aspergers? Over the last few days, I’ve been thinking a lot about Aspergers medications for our son. It appears there are no real “approved” medications for Aspergers children as young as 5. Many of the side effects of the medicines recommended by our doctor scare me. Some of them are irreversible! Other family members are definitely wanting to try medicine for our son, but I am struggling with this a lot. I hate taking any medicine myself, and I really hate the thought of our son being on medicine for Aspergers. What if it makes him worse? Could it change him forever? Just some things I’ve been dealing with lately.
