Ebola, Autism, and Weakened Immune Systems

Ebola, Autism, and Weakened Immune Systems

Okay, so I’ll admit all this talk of the first case of Ebola in the United States has me a little on edge. I especially think about my son who has autism, and his weakened immune system. Ever since he was a baby, he has caught almost every cold or germ that seems to come around. I even quit my job outside the home because he was sick so much (this was even before we knew he was autistic).

So hearing that ebola is in the United States, and thinking of him (and all the other kids with weakened immune systems, including many with autism), scares me a lot! I feel like I’m ready to go live in a bubble with our kids, lol!

I’m doubtful that the Olive Leaf Extract for Chronic Strep that my son with autism takes would be very helpful against Ebola…. nor would the Tenex to help with aggression do much of anything for Ebola

And earlier today I saw another website recommending folks go out and buy these DuPont Tyvek Disposable Suits, as they were predicting they would soon be sold out on Amazon!?! I’m not quite to that point, but it is amazing to think some folks are stocking up on those!

*What about you? What are your thoughts on the Ebola outbreak and especially regarding kids with autism and weakened immune systems?

P.S. Excuse me while I go try to find a “bubble” to purchase for our household. 🙂
