Our Aspergers child is very obsessed with boxes. He gets upset if we throw away his toy boxes (the boxes that new toys come in). He loves to look at the back of the toy boxes and treats them very gently, maybe even more gently than his toys! He freaks out if his younger brother accidentally gets ahold of a box and tears it. I’m not sure why our Aspergers son is obsessed with boxes, but he dearly loves them.
