Aspergers diet & nutritional supplements

I’ve heard much about Aspergers diet & nutritional supplements. I’m interested in trying an Aspergers diet & nutritional supplements for our son, but this will not be easy. He already eats breakfast at school, and I’m sure most of the meals would not fit in an Aspergers diet. But, because of his Aspergers and extreme difficulty with change, I do not think he would do well eating a different breakfast than the other kids, and he loves eating breakfast at school. It has helped him try new foods, which is great.

I want to find more information on nutritional supplements for Aspergers. I have heard that Omega 3’s & fish oil can help, and we are already doing this. I’ve also read that casein-free (milk protein) and gluten-free diets can help, but this is a huge step for us. I would love to hear from anyone else who has (or has not) found an Aspergers diet & nutritional supplements to be helpful. Our son actually had a milk protein allergy when he was younger, but appeared to outgrow it because he can now drink cow’s milk with no evident problems.
