First day of first grade that I will never forget!
So this is an example of how far advanced our son’s Aspergers mind is. I picked him up from school on the first day of school and asked him how his day was. He said, “Mommy, I am really worried about SECOND grade.” This was on his first day of FIRST grade…. a whole year away from second grade! He also drew a picture on his first day of class showing and saying that he was worried about second grade. I was shocked that he was already worried about second grade, and still has an entire year of first grade to get through! His mind is far beyond his years I think, and it shows me just how far ahead he is thinking (and worrying)!
